Here is my cutie girl Meredith in all her glory! It's the funniest things that get her to giggling. I love the way she throws her head back in belly laughter. I never dreamed my kids would make me laugh so hard. They are truly little gifts that I get to reopen everyday!!

It's been a While
I've been bad about posting on here lately. It's just hard to get away and get on the computer sometimes when you have school, workouts, kids, and housework etc. looming over you everynight.
Well, It's been a wild month....God has really been working on the Rhoda family. He must be preparing us for something GREAT! I know we will be victorious with Him guiding us!
Madelyn started a new school on January 6th and she loves it. And so do I! I had been praying for about a year for God to provide a new school for Madelyn. This is a Children's Day Out program at a church in Edmond just down the street from my work. It's from 9:30 to 2:30. So I go get her at 2:30 and bring her back to my office while I finish working. She's done well so far! Today, they had 50's day and I dressed her up in rolled up jeans, a white button-up shirt, bobby socks, Mary Jane shoes and we put her hair up in a ponytail with a cute ribbon. I have to say she looked quite cute. I'll try to get the picture up here later.
Well, that's about all the news right now. I'll try to do better about posting on here.

Night at the Salon

One night a few weeks ago I just felt like playing with Madelyn's hair. Usually she's not all that game for it, but this night I caught her being agreeable. I don't ever sit down to play with hair with a specific hair-do in mind, I tend to lean toward the wild and kind of scary. A hair do session with me usually includes braids (I think this obsession with braids comes from never getting my hair braided as a child and I always loved the look). There might be one braid, two braids, 5 braids, or too numerous to mention. They might be small, tight braids or loose, fat braids. It just depends on what my fingers start doing. I was feeling frisky this night and feeling a little out of control (in life that is) and I believe my hair do work mirrored that of my emotional state. What do you think?
