Madelynisms...Part 2

Ok....so the newest funny thing by Madelyn. I was going to the bathroom and she comes along so we can have a little chat. She's in her pretend mode. This is how the conversation went:

Madelyn: "I have a husband, his name is George." (She changes husbands all the time, the first one was Bobby and then there was Sam and then I believe there was a David in there somewhere.)

Mommy: "Oh, and how is George?"

Madelyn: "Well, (insert ticked off face here) I broke up with George!"

Mommy: "How Come?"

Madelyn: "He was being mean to me."

Mommy: "Did he say something ugly to you?"

Madelyn: "Yeah, and then he smacked me!" (I didn't even know she knew the word, "smacked."

Mommy: "(Laughing) He SMACKED you?"

Mommy: "Husbands should NEVER smack their wives."

Madelyn: "Yeah, I told him that. I called the cops and they came and took him to jail."

Mommy: "Oh, I bet he won't do that to you again."

Madelyn: "Yeah, he just got out of jail and we are back together."

Mommy: "You shouldn't get back together with a husband who smacks you."

Madelyn: "But I LOVE him."

I guess I'm going to have to have a talk with her about the good guys and bad guys. It cracks me up some of the things she comes up with.
