Laughing Baby

I had to put this on here for everyone to see. David got Meredith to laughing tonight and although it's not her best laughing session, it is a good one. Enjoy!!

Boomer Sooner!!!!

Ok...So I'm SO ready for football!! David took a picture of me in my new jersey for Opening Game Day 2008. I'm still on the hunt for Madelyn's yearly game-day outfit. Meredith will be decked out in Madelyn's hand-me-downs. I'm so looking forward to the first game Saturday night. David and I are having a date night and going somewhere to watch the game together while the munchkins are getting babysat. Football season/Fall is my favorite time of the year. The weather is finally starting to cool off. Football every Saturday...and Sunday if you like Pro, which I do not until the playoffs. Madelyn and Meredith's birthdays coming up. And all the holidays are coming up which is exciting. The Rhoda Family plans all dates in the fall according to Sooner game days and times. The year we got married, we got married on an off day....the weekend Madelyn was born was an off day and every year since she's been born, we have celebrated her birthday on an off day. I don't know what I would do if their off day didn't always fall around Madelyn's birthday. We might have to celebrate her September birthday in November or something. Lol!! Boomer Sooner....We love Bobby Stoops!!

Check out this horrific case of Pink Eye David was sporting last week....It's truly a miracle that none of the rest of us got it. We avoided him like the plague!

Introducing Madelyn and Meredith......

These are my sweet girls that make me "Doubly Blessed." Not the best picture, but it's the best I have of them saved on my computer at the moment.

Madelyn (on the right) will be 4 years old on September 22nd. She can make me want to scream and make my insides burst with pride at her sweetness all in the span of 30 minutes. She is an old lady in a little girl's body. She likes to lay in bed with her Mimi and play Old Maid. She likes to put on makeup and she loves, loves, loves her little sister! She starts playing T-ball this fall and we're all so excited! She was the first to make me a mommy and she steals my heart again every day!

Meredith (on the left) is 8 months old and is my snuggle bunny. She does this cute thing in the morning when I first get her up. She will bury her head into my chest and snuggle me so hard, it's like she's trying to get back inside me. She's my second and most likely last baby. I don't try to help her crawl, walk, or pass any milestones. I want her to stay small forever. She's a chubby thing who smiles all the time. Even when I'm so tired I can't keep my eyes open or am just plain cranky, she give me a reason to laugh or smile. She's got one tooth and is starting to babble all the time. She's definitely my heart walking around outside my body!
